Expert panel visits KSOU

Mysuru: Two-members of the six-member Expert Committee set up by the State Government  to help the Karnataka State Open University get back UGC recognition, visited the KSOU yesterday.

KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. B. Shivalingaiah, speaking to Star of Mysore, here this morning said, “Bangalore University Registrar Prof. B.K. Ravi and Prof. Krishnaraja of Institute of Economic Changes (ISEC), who are members of the Committee asked for all the documents right from 2013-14 up to 2017-18. They also wanted to know the court cases filed till now.”

The two experts will submit the details to Additional Chief Secretary K. Ratna Prabha, who is heading the Expert Committee.

The Committee will have a crucial meeting with KSOU  officials on Oct. 25, said a source in KSOU.
