Fake marks cards: Cases registered against six Food Safety Inspectors

Mysuru: Jayalakshmipuram Police have booked cases against 6 Food Safety Inspectors for submitting fake marks cards of KSOU, to the Food and Civil Supplies Department for getting promotion.

Those booked are Sharanappa and Satish of Ganagavathi in Koppal District, Ramesh G. Reddy of Chikkodi, Kashi M. Wali of Sandur in Ballari District, Shivayogappa of Surapura and Mallanna of Shahapur in  Yadgir district.

Nine personnel of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, seeking promotion, had submitted their KSOU degree marks card, following which the Department forwarded the marks cards to the KSOU to check their authenticity.

But during scrutiny, the marks cards of the six accused were found to be fake and subsequently the KSOU Registrar lodged a complaint against them, according to the Police.
