Falcon employee passes away

Mysuru: An employee of the defunct Falcon Tyres B.M. Shankar passed away at JSS Hospital here yesterday. He was 52 and leaves behind his wife and a daughter.

Family members alleged that Shankar was very depressed as the revival hopes of Falcon Tyres never materialised and added that his health deteriorated gradually. They have urged the Government to come out with some constructive plans to revive the factory.

It may be mentioned here that on Aug.29 CM H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) had assured the employees of the Falcon Tyres that the defunct factory would be revived and they will hear the good news within a week.
