Farmer goes missing under mysterious circumstances

Mysuru: A 43-year-old farmer has gone missing under mysterious circumstances and his purse, slippers, cap and shirt have been found on the Kapila River Bridge at Chakkur village in Saragur taluk.

The missing farmer is H.S. Sohan Kumar, a resident of Hunugalli village in Saragur.

Sohan left his house on May 30 at about 9 pm and has since gone missing.

His belongings were found on the Kapila River Bridge.

Suspecting that he has been drowned in the river, a search was conducted to trace his body in the river but could not locate his body, Police said.
