Mysuru: Farooqia D.Ed. College for Women has secured 95% in second year D.Ed and 82% in I year D.Ed. examination held recently, according to A.K. Umme Reshma, Principal.

Out of 23 candidates who appeared for the exam, 13 secured distinction and 9 passed in first class. Sadiya Ather secured first place with 85.75 percent and M. Refana secured second place in English medium with 85.50 percent. In first year, out of 28 students, 11 secured distinction and 12 passed in first class.

Also a campus recruitment drive was held before the exam and all the trainees got placement in reputed institutions.
