FDA accused of misuse of  Encumbrance Certificate

June 9, 2017

Mysuru: A First Division Assistant (FDA) at Hunsur Taluk office has been accused of cheating the Government by submitting two different Encumbrance Certificates of family members for availing benefits.

Puttarangaswamy, a resident of the city, in his complaint to the DC alleged that FDA Sanjeeva Murthy, had used the death Certificate of his mother Eramma who served at PKTB Sanatorium in city, to get a government job on compassionate grounds. But Sanjeev Murthy submitted a different Encumbrance Certificate to the Revenue Department, by concealing the one which he had used to secure a job, to obtain a site in 2014, the complainant said.

Puttarangaswamy has appealed the DC to dismiss Sanjeevamurthy from service for cheating the government to avail benefits on false grounds.
