Mysore/Mysuru: Fire and Emergency Services  personnel attached to Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade have averted a major fire mishap at a hotel in Dattagalli by extinguishing the fire on time and preventing it from spreading further.

Yesterday evening, when the cooks at Uma Mahesh Prasad Hotel were heating oil in a vessel, the oil caught fire and the shocked staff rushed out of the hotel. Immediately, the hotel owner called up Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade and informed them about the fire. The Fire staff, who rushed to the hotel on time, succeeded in extinguishing the fire and prevented it from spreading further, thus averting a major fire mishap.
