Mysore/Mysuru: An Engineering student committed suicide by hanging self at his house in Giridarshini Layout on Saturday morning.

The deceased student is Sujith Obalesh Rai (19). Sujith had prepared himself to take up National Defence Academy (NDA) exams during holidays. His mother is a High School teacher.

On Saturday morning, after his mother left for work, Sujith reportedly ended his life by hanging self at the room of the house. Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case said that the reason for Sujith to take the extreme step is yet to be known.
