Mysuru: The fling of applications for five services under the Government’s ‘Bhoomi’ Scheme has gone online, with the development of a citizen portal.
The Director of ‘Bhoomi’ Cell of the Revenue Department, in a circular sent to the office of the Deputy Commissioners in all districts, on Nov.8, has said that the Cell has facilitated the members of the public to obtain Aadhaar based eKYC and eSign services through DigiLocker by using this portal.
The services include change of khata in respect of land, recording of podi details in pahani, details of land conversion, filling up land records in RTC and details on clearance of loans.
With the launch of the new citizen portal, the public need not have to visit Bhoomi Kendras or Atalji Janasnehi Kendras. The public can file applications by logging on to http:/landrecords.karnataka.gov.in/service93
The DCs have been asked to provide training to all concerned Departmental, Bank employees and staff of Co-op. Societies on the use and handling of the portal.
