Flag March taken out in city ahead of Tipu Jayanti

Mysuru: In a bid to instil confidence among the public and to maintain law and order situation during Tipu Jayanti celebrations scheduled to be celebrated on Nov.10 in city, the City Police yesterday took out a Flag March at sensitive areas in city.

The Police, numbering about 400, drawn from City Armed Reserve (CAR), City Police, Chamundi Team and from other battalions, took out the Flag March in N.R. Police limits here.

The Police marched through Kuri Mandi in N.R. Mohalla, Shivaji Road, Ashoka Road and other roads in sensitive areas before culminating at Meelad Park on Ashoka Road.

DCPs N. Vishnuvardhana, Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and B.V. Kittur were among those who participated in the Flag March.
