Floral tributes mark Kempegowda Jayanti in city

The Mysuru District Administration and Kannada & Culture Department had organised Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti celebrations at Kalamandira premises this morning by offering floral tributes to a portrait of the Founder of Bengaluru.

MLAs G.T. Devegowda and L. Nagendra, MP Pratap Simha, MCC Additional Commissioner N.M. Shashikumar, Kannada and Culture Department Assistant Director H. Chennappa, Additional DC B.R. Poornima, Mysuru-Chamarajanagar Vokkaligara Sangha President Manju and others were present.

Kempegowda’s 511th Jayanti was also celebrated at Mysuru-Chamarajanagar Vokkaligara Sangha premises by offering floral tributes to the portrait of Nadaprabhu. Director and former Corporator Prashanth Gowda, Hon. President Kumar Gowda, General Secretary Boregowda, Director Ravikumar, leaders Sathish Gowda, Kumar and others were present.
