Footpath on KRS road: Threat to pedestrian safety

May 30, 2020

Sir,

The footpath on KRS Road, beside the CFTRI campus, has opened up at two places (see photo). It is risky for pedestrians, especially when they walk while talking over the mobile or watching videos or whatsApp while walking.

The risk is higher during the night time if streetlights are not working or electricity goes off during the rains. It is requested to take action by the authorities concerned to cover it properly to avoid any mishap.
