Footpath on Lingambudhi Tank bund road needs maintenance

July 12, 2023

Sir,

I would like to draw the attention of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) towards the bad condition of footpath on Lingambudhi Tank bund road in Srirampura II Stage. This road that leads to Lingambudhipalya has overgrown bushes blocking the footpath and also a portion of the road. Large bushes are bent towards the road causing poor visibility at some curves.

People are forced to go on a morning stroll on this unkempt road and also the students of nearby Arivu Vidya Samsthe have to pedal cycle amid all these difficulties. Many cars, two-wheelers and city buses also ply on this stretch of road.

We request the authorities to clear the bushes as soon as possible and make the road safer, besides taking up its maintenance regularly.
