Mysore/Mysuru: Jayashankaraswamy (66), a former Corporator, Proprietor of Raju Sound System and a resident of Basaveshwara Road near Agrahara, passed away yesterday in city. He was also the former President of Federation of Basava Balaga.

He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in Vidyaranyapuram this afternoon.
