Mysuru: Former MLC and senior BJP leader Thontadarya will be felicitated at a programme to take place at Saptapadi Kalyana Mantapa on Kannada Sahitya Parishat Road, Vijayanagar First Stage in city at 10.30 am tomorrow (May 14).

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, the Felicitation Committee President G.R. Parameshwarappa said that Thontadarya will be accorded a civic felicitation for his service to the society.

Veteran BJP leader D.H. Shankaramurthy will inaugurate the programme in the divine presence of Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Vijayapura Jnana Yogashrama Seer Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji. Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat’s Hon. Advisor G.R. Channabasappa will preside.

Senior RSS leader S. Ramanna will deliver the felicitation address, he said.

America-settled Kannada writer Guru S. Bale’s translated works titled ‘Shakti Vishishtadwaita’ and ‘Panchapeethagala Parampare’ will be released by Kundur Mutt Seer Sri Sharathchandra Swamiji on the occasion.
