Foundation stone laid for construction of hostel building at MyMUL

Mysore/Mysuru: District Minister S.T. Somashekar laid the foundation stone for the construction of women’s hostel at a function organised by Raitha Kalyana Trust at Mysuru Milk Federation’s Mega Dairy premises on Bannur Road here yesterday.

The proposed hostel is being constructed for the girl children of women members of Milk                  Producing Societies for their education purpose.

The hostel building consists of 85 rooms which can accommodate nearly 250 students and is being constructed at an approximate cost of  Rs. 10 crore.

MLA G.T. Devegowda presided. MyMUL President P.M. Prasanna, Managing Director B.N. Vijayakumar, Directors A.T. Somashekar, K. Umashankar, C. Om Prakash, B.N. Sadananda, K. Eregowda,  Cheluvaraju, H.D. Rajendra, A. Shivagami, K.G. Mahesh,  D. Rajendrappa, Leela,  B. Neelambike Mahesh and Drakshayani,  General Manager H.R. Raghu and others were present  at the foundation stone laying event.
