Four arrested for bettingduring T20 cricket match: Rs.28,100 cash, five cell phones, TV seized

Mysuru: Kuvempunagar Police, on Apr.4, raided Mahalakshmi Tea and Coffee Corner on Kanakadasanagar Main Road in Dattagalli 3rd Stage and arrested four persons for indulging in betting during the IPL T20 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals.

The arrested are 30-year-old Harish and 19-year-old Aravind of Huralikyathanahalli village in Srirangapatna taluk, Umesh of Naajipura village in H.D. Kote taluk and Dominic Adarsh of Housing Board Colony in Chamarajanagar.

The Cops have seized Rs.28,100 cash, five mobile phones, one Panasonic LED TV and documents from them.

DCP M. Muthuraj and K.R. Sub-Division ACP Gopalakrishna T. Nayak supervised Kuvempunagar Inspector J.C. Raju, Sub-Inspector K. Raghu and staff Mahendra, Yogesh and Adarsh in the nabbing and seizing operation.
