Mysuru: Marking the 166th birth anniversary of Dharma Prakasha Rao Bahaddur D. Banumaiah, the Founder of D. Banumaiah Educational Institutions, the city’s D. Banumaiah Yuva Brigade has organised a free health check-up camp in D. Banumaiah College premises on New Sayyaji Rao Road at 12 noon on July 5 (Sunday). 

The camp has been organised in association with the city’s Suyog Multi-speciality Hospital. 

The event will also have a free eye check-up camp by Navneeth Netralaya, distribution of free note books to students, Pratibha Puraskar to meritorious students and a voluntary blood donation camp in association with Jeevadhara Blood Bank. 

K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa released the poster of D. Banumaiah Jayanti celebration events in front of Sri Kolhapur Mahalakshmi Temple in K.R. Mohalla on Thursday.  

Brigade office-bearers Pradeep Kumar, Ravi, Deepak, Suresh, Shivanna, Prakash, Bharathi, Mahalakshmi, Hema, Thayamma and others were present.
