Freedom fighter H.K. Subbanna no more

Mandya: H.K. Subbanna (86), son of late freedom fighter H.K. Kempanna of S.I. Honnalagere village of Maddur taluk in Mandya district, passed away at his native Honnalagere yesterday following brief illness. 

He leaves behind his wife Sundaramma, four daughters, sons-in-law, brother Mahadevu (retd. KSRTC Officer) and a host of relatives and friends. 

Last rites were held at Honnalagere yesterday.

Former Minister and MLA D.C. Thammanna paid his last respects to the departed soul. Malavalli MLA Dr. Andani, former Zilla Panchayat Member A.T. Ballegowda, leader Chandupura Papanna, National Safai Karmacharis Commission Chairman M. Shivanna, Hagalahalli Prakash, Chandupura Shivalingegowda, Honnalagere Rajendra Prasad and others have condoled his  death.
