Fund-raiser Cricket Tournament begins

A day-long Edin Premier League (EPL) – A Charity Fund-raiser Cricket Tournament for HRs and Academicians, organised by Edin Bridge, in association with Conzulere Nextwealth, began at Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Manasagangothri, opposite All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), here this morning.

Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath and former State Cricketer M.S. Ravindra jointly inaugurated the tournament.

A total of six teams comprising Human Resource professionals and Academicians, both men and women, are taking part in this tournament, which is being played with eight overs a side.

MP Pratap Simha will distribute prizes to the winners of this Tournament, conducted as a fund-raiser in support of the city’s ‘Kaliyuva Mane’.

J. Purushottham, President, Mind Mass, Mysuru, Dr. R. Mahesh, Chairperson, BIMS, Manasagangothri, S.V. Srinivasan, Vice-President, National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mysuru Chapter, Goutham, Tournament Convenor and others were present.
