Ganabharathi launches its website

Mysuru:  Ganabharathi, in association with the Department of Kannada and Culture, had organised a function at its premises in Kuvempunagar here yesterday to mark the launch of its website and inauguration of the new gallery seats at its Ramabai Govinda Rao Rangamandira.

Inaugurating the new gallery seats, former Minister B.K. Chandrashekar opined that art was not confined to any strata  of society and regretted that today’s politicians were not in favour of culture and art.

Launching the website,  MLA S.A. Ramdas bemoaned that the youth were contracting mental ailments and opined that music was a proven remedy for mental depression. Ganabharathi President Dr. C.G. Narasimhan, Industrialist Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Kannada and Culture Assistant Director H. Chennappa and others  were present.
