Ganabharathi to conduct online music lessons on Veene Seshanna Krithis

Mysore/Mysuru: Vainika Shikamani Veene Seshanna was an exponent of Veena. A well-known composer, Seshanna had composed 53 compositions, which include Swarajatis, Padas, Javalis and many Tillanas. They are jewels of Karnatak music. 

Ganabharathi has organised a series of online teaching programmes of his krithis. Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar, Vidwan Ballary Raghavendra, Vidushi Archana Bennur, Vidushi Geetha Ramanand and Vidushi Mysore S. Rajalakshmi will participate in the first part of this teaching series. This series include Veena as well as vocal rendering of all the krithis of Veene Seshanna. 

These programmes are available on  YouTube and facebook pages of Ganabharathi. Scripts of all his krithis are available in book form on Ganabharathi webpage. 

One new krithi will be taught every Monday at 9 am from Apr. 12, according to a press release from T.S. Venugopal, Secretary, Ganabharathi (Mob: 99000-82773).
