Garbage on vacant sites irks residents of Subashnagar

A vacant site sandwiched between House No. 220 and 222 at Subashnagar is being dumped with garbage such as left over food is attracting cattle and stray dogs causing a lot of problems to the residents living in the surrounding. This apart, the vacant site is filled with weeds, bushes and other plants making it a perfect place for reptiles and rodents to live besides there is an increase in mosquitoes in the area. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the vacant site cleaned and instruct the owner to secure the property by fencing it.
