Garbage scattered on Gaganachumbi Double Road

August 6, 2017

Sir,

There is poor waste management in Kuvempunagar (Gaganachumbi Double Road) area opposite Jodi Basava Temple. The MCC workers do not collect the garbage kept on the passage for days together and it gets scattered everywhere.

This is an unhealthy practice considering the current scenarios where dengue is spreading across the city through mosquitoes. The place always has foul smell and is surrounded by swamps, flies and mosquitoes. If MCC fails to pick it up, they should give us a different option to discard the waste as there is no big dustbin or any system where the garbage can be discarded. This shows the carelessness of MCC.
