Gold biscuits stolen from flat: Flat owner expresses doubts on house help

Mysuru: Gold biscuits, weighing 45 grams, which were kept in the almirah at a flat, has been stolen and the flat owner, expressing his doubts on the house help, has lodged a complaint with Kuvempunagar Police. 

The theft took place at the flat of Hitesh in Pramur Adonis Apartment at Kanakadasanagar in city. 

In his complaint, Hitesh has stated that he been conducting business in China since seven years and used to visit the flat, where his wife and children stay, every now and then.   

On June 10, when his wife opened the almirah to take out gold jewellery for attending a function, the gold biscuits were missing and despite searching for them in the house, the gold biscuits could not be found. 

He has further stated that his wife had told him that no one had come to the flat except the house help Shanthi ever since he went to China. Expressing his doubts on the house help, Hitesh has lodged a complaint. Kuvempunagar Police, based on the complaint, registered a case on June 23 and are investigating.
