Gold chain robbed from the dead

Mysore/Mysuru: An incident of miscreants allegedly robbing a gold chain of a woman, who died of COVID at the COVID Hospital, has come to light lately.

A 56-year-old woman, who was admitted to the COVID Hospital on KRS Road after she tested positive, succumbed to the disease at the Hospital on Aug. 12. But when the hospital staff handed over the woman’s body to the family members on Aug. 13, they found the 26 grams gold chain missing.

A case has been registered at Metagalli Police Station in this regard.
