Gold chain snatched

June 28, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: A bike-borne miscreant, in the guise of seeking an address, has snatched a gold chain of a woman at Lalitha Mahal Layout here last evening.

The woman, who lost her gold chain, is 50-year-old Manjula, a resident of the locality.

Manjula was standing in front of her house, when a person, who came on a bike, came near her in the pretext of asking an address and tried to snatch the gold chain she was wearing. As Manjula held on to her chain tightly, the chain got cut and the miscreant managed to snatch about 12 grams of the gold chain including the pendant and sped away.

Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
