Heavy rains predicted from June 29 to July 1

MangaluruMeteorological Department has sounded a yellow alert for coastal districts as well as various other parts of Karnataka from June 29 to July 1 and has predicted heavy rains during the period.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received good rainfall on Saturday. Meanwhile, the problem of sea erosion too has intensified in some places.

Kodagu district administration has issued yellow alert for more rains during the next  three days.
