Gold chain snatched in city

Mysuru: After a brief lull, chain snatchers have struck again by snatching a gold chain of a woman at Kumbarakoppal in city yesterday.

The woman, who lost her chain, has been identified as Shruthi, a resident of Kumbarakoppal.

Shruthi, along with her sister were walking near Ningayyanakere, when a bike borne miscreant snatched her 50 grams chain worth about Rs. 1.35 lakh and sped away. Metagalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
