Gold chain snatched from teacher

Nanjangud: A teacher was robbed of her gold chain by miscreants at Nanjangud on Friday.

Suma, 52, a teacher by profession and a resident of Srirampura Road in the town, was walking towards her house at 7 pm on Friday evening, when two bike-borne miscreants managed to yank-off her 60-gm gold chain, costing about Rs. 3 lakh and fled in a flash.

Nanjangud Town Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
