Gold chain snatched in Kuvempunagar

Mysore/Mysuru: Chain snatchers have snatched a gold chain of a 65-year-old woman, who was on her way to a park for her evening walk on Aug. 30.

The woman, who lost her gold chain, is Lakshmamma, a resident of Kuvempunagar ‘M’ Block in city.

Lakshmamma was on her was to Vishwaroopam Park for her evening walk when she noticed two persons sitting on a bike ahead of her. When she passed them and went a bit further, one of them came from behind and yanked off her 50 grams gold chain, sat on the bike and sped away. Lakshmamma fell down when the miscreant snatched her gold chain and was in a state of shock. She did not lodge a complaint immediately and filed a complaint on Sept. 1. Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
