Gold ingot stolen from shop drawer

Mysuru:  A 49 grams gold ingot  kept in a drawer at a goldsmith shop on Soji Street, Rave Beedhi in Lashkar Mohalla, has been stolen.

The gold ingot has been stolen from the shop of Ramesh. According to the complaint lodged at Lashkar Police Station on Aug. 16, Ramesh, while cleaning the shop for Varamahalakshmi festival had kept the gold ingot in the drawer of the shop and when he opened the drawer the next day morning, he found the ingot missing. 

Ramesh, who has suspected that one Vinod, who had come to the shop, may have stolen the ingot, has urged the Police to conduct an enquiry.
