Mysurean among two killed in road accident near Arasikere

Hassan: A Mysurean is among two persons who were killed in a road accident on the highway near Banawara in Arasikere taluk on Friday.

The deceased are Dharmaraju (28), a resident of Belawadi in Mysuru and Vasudeva (34), a resident of Srirangapatna.

Dharmaraju, along with his friend Vasudeva had gone to a temple at Shivamogga in a Maruti Alto car (KA-55-M-5634) and when they were proceeding towards Arasikere after visiting the temple, a private tourist vehicle (KA-42-A-5725) rammed into the car near Bendekere-Maasthihalli Gate, seriously injuring both of them who breathed their last on the spot, according to the Police.

Banawara Police have registered a case in this regard.
