Gold ornaments, cash burgled

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house by breaking open the lock, have decamped with gold ornaments and cash from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of 46-year-old Shivaswamy at Jayadevanagar in city.

Shivaswamy, along with his family members, had gone to attend the marriage ceremony of his brother-in-law at Nanjangud on Feb. 9 and when they returned the next day, they found the lock of the front door broken and on inspecting the house, they found gold ornaments and cash kept in the almirah stolen.

A case has been registered at Metagalli Police Station.
