Government Daily Wage and KGB employees seek regularisation of services

Mysuru:  In separate protests this morning, members of District Unit of Karnataka State Government Daily Wage Employees Federation and Kaveri Grameena Bank (KGB) employees sought fulfilment of their various demands.  

Over 50 members of District Unit of Karnataka State Government Daily Wage Employees Federation staged protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office shouting slogans against the Government for turning blind eye regarding regularisation of their services. They demanded the Government to provide facilities, emoluments, promotions and perks on par with permanent Government employees

District Unit President of the Federation G. Ramesh, Vice- President Harish, and Secretary.  Jayashekhar, Convener Narayangowda and others were present.

KGB protest

Over 200 outsourced and daily wage employees and Officers of KGB staged protest outside their Head Office in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, raising slogans against their management.

The protesters demanded to make them permanent employees besides providing all facilities on the lines of Nationalised Bank employees and Officers as per Supreme Court directions.

They said over 400 employees were working as outsourced and daily wage employees in Regional Bank spread in 10 districts from last ten years. Similar protests were held at the Banks in 10 district branches.

Office-bearers of the Bank Employees and Officers Association like H. Nagabhushan Rao, K.R. Krishnamurthy, Srinivas, Muniyapa, Puttaraju, Shekarappa and others were present.
