Government plans to jab II PU students who wish to write offline exam

June 2, 2021

Bengaluru: The State Government is thinking of vaccinating those students who will appear for offline second PU annual examination in the wake of current COVID-19 pandemic second wave, opined Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar.

Talking to reporters here yesterday, he said the final decision in this regard will be taken after consulting health and educational experts. In fact, a few experts have recommended vaccinating those second year PU students who wish to write the annual examination offline.

“Vaccinating these students is quite challenging as the Government of India has allowed inoculating the population above 18 years of age. Anyhow, I will discuss with Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. Sudhakar before finalising it,” he added.
