Swarna Gowri and Sri Ganesha festival as well as Sri Male Mahadeshwara Swamy Puja Mahotsava have been organised on Sept. 7 under the guidance of Sri Basaveshwara Mutt Pontiff Shankara Swamy at Basaveshwara Mutt, Raghavendra Nagar in the city. At 6 am, Rudrabhisheka, Mahamangalarati and Puja Mahotsava will be held followed by ‘Dharmika Sabha’ from 9 am in which Sri Kuderu Mutt Pontiff Sri Gurushanta Swamiji and Sri Madiwala Swamy Mutt Pontiff Sri Immadi Madiwala Swamiji will participate. Mysuru District-in-charge Minister V. Somanna along with other elected representatives and local MLAs will be present on the occasion. From 10 am, ‘Rasamanjari programme by Jennifer Musical Events with Junior Vishnuvardhan has also been organised. Prasada Viniyoga will be held at 12.30 pm and Gowri-Ganesha Visarjane will be held at 2.30 pm.
