Mysuru: The District Administration in association with Mysuru District Vishwakarma Jayanthotsava Samithi will celebrate Vishwakarma Jayanti on Sept.17.

Announcing this at a press meet here on Wednesday, the Jayanthotsava Samithi President Puttaswamachar said that a grand procession will mark the celebrations in city. The procession, which will be taken out from Sri Kalikamba Kamateshwara temple on Irwin road at 9 am on Sept.17, will pass through Irwin Road, Ashoka Road, Clock Tower and Sayyaji Rao Road to reach Kalamandira on Hunsur Road, where the stage programme will be held at 12.30 pm. Actress Bhavya will flag off the procession. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, MLA Vasu and others will be present.

Samithi office-bearers Jayaramachar, Rangappa, Govindachari, Ravikumar, Manjunath and others were present at the press meet.
