Mysuru: A man and his grandson, allegedly thrashed a man for petty reasons in the premises of Akkana Balaga School here yesterday while the public recorded the incident on their mobile phones.

While the man, who was thrashed has been identified as Prakash, a resident of Tilaknagar here, the persons who assaulted him have been identified as Srinivas, Director of Backward Classes Multi-purpose Co-operative Society and his grandson. Prakash and Srinivas are said to be brothers.

Yesterday, Srinivas was chairing the Annual General Body Meeting of the Co-operative Society at Ursu Mandali premises when Prakash barged into the meeting and demanded membership to him besides shouting at Srinivas.
