October 22, 2019

Mysuru: Tension prevailed at B.M.Shri Nagar in Metagalli Police Station limits late  on Sunday night as two groups of youths clashed over a trivial issue.

Trouble started when four foreign students travelling on two bikes went on a honking spree when a group of local youths strongly objected to it. Even as the local youths were taking on the foreign students on the issue, another group of local youths came in support of the foreign students when an altercation took place, leading to tension in the area.

Upon getting information about the incident, Metagalli Police Inspector Raghavendra Gowda and staff rushed to the spot and brought the warring youths to the Police Station and questioned them.

However no Police complaint has been filed so far, according to Police sources.

Meanwhile the situation in the area retuned to normalcy, with Police guarding the area, sources said.
