GSSSIETW signs MoU with Regional Institute of Digital Marketing

Mysore/Mysuru: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Jan. 8, 2021 between the Department of MBA, GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and Regional Institute of Digital Marketing (RIDM), Mysuru. The signing event took place at the Principal’s office at GSSSIETW.

RIDM is a Mysuru-based Edu-Tech organisation focused on enhancing skill sets based on industry skill set requirements. RIDM offers training and consultancy services based on the current industry demanding skills like HR Analytics, Advanced Excel, Google Analytics, Programmatic Advertising, Sports Management, Digital Marketing, Faculty Development Programmes, train the trainers, soft skill, data science, big data, etc.

The purpose of this MoU is to set-forth increased collaboration and interaction between both the organisations by conducting various value-added programmes for the students to bridge the gap between industry and academics. 

GSSSIETW is always committed to offer recent updates in domain knowledge through short-term courses, Industry Institute interaction, etc. in collaboration with top industries. 

Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru and S. Bharath, Head of Operations, RIDM, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. N. Vallisha, Operations Manager, RIDM, Dr. Aparna J. Varma, Associate Professor and the staff members from the Department of MBA jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.

The MoU will facilitate the institute in organising various skill development programmes, short-term courses, workshops, and placement assistance in association with RIDM. 

The MoU comprises collaborative students’ development activities to be taken up on agreed to, by both the organisations, with a view to nurture and mould students to become fit for the industry.
