Guides distributed to students

Hunsur:  SSLC Guide books were distributed free of cost to students studying in Government schools of the taluk at a programme organised under the aegis of HPC Charitable Trust at the Girls High School in the town recently.

Speaking on the occasion, the trust President M.S. Umapathy said the distribution of guides will help the poor children compete with their counterparts studying in private schools. The Trust is working on plans for more such programmes that will benefit the poor students, he added.

The Trust Vice-President Vasanth Manjunath and the school headmistress Geetha too spoke on the occasion. The Trust office-bearers Srihari, Nagaraj, Nanjundaswamy, Raghu, Bhyrashetty, Dhananjaya were present.
