Gurunath Joshi (91), a retired Railway Officer passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday.

He leaves behind two sons including Sharad G. Joshi, Assistant General Manager of The Times of India, Mysuru region, two daughters, grand children and a host of relatives and friends. His wife Sita Joshi had pre-deceased him a month back.

Last rites were performed this morning at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
