Hackathon event held

Hindustan First Grade College had recently organised a two-day workshop on ‘Hackathon’ at its premises in J.P. Nagar in city. In all, 30 teams comprising 93 students from various Colleges participated in the workshop. The workshop was held as part of Spectra 2020 – a National level Management, IT and Cultural Fest which is held today and tomorrow (Feb. 12 and 13). The Hackathon event provided a platform for the students to interact and establish rapport with working professionals. Ashish Thomas Cherian, Software Developer, iMorph Innovation Centre, Chennai and S.U. Shinny, Mentor, KCG College, Chennai, were the resource persons for the workshop. The trainers provided the insight knowledge about HTML, CSS and Javascript to the participants and the students had a hands-on experience on these subjects, according to a press release from the College Principal.
