Mysuru: The district administration in association with various organisations will celebrate Vachanakara Hadapada Appanna Jayanti in  city on July 27.

Additional DC T. Yogesh held a meeting in this regard at the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office here yesterday. Marking the celebrations, a grand procession featuring a portrait of Hadapada Appanna and a host of folk troupes will be taken out from Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple at the Palace North gate at 9.30 am, followed by the stage programme in Kalamandira at 11am, Yogesh said.

DDPUE Dayanand, Kannada and Culture Assistant Director Channappa, Thayur Vittalamurthy, Mike Prakash, Yashoda and others attended the meeting.
