Half-burnt body of woman found, murder suspected

K.R. Nagar:  A half-burnt body of an unidentified woman, suspected to have been murdered, was found in the bushes at a field near Arjunahalli village in the taluk.

The woman is aged about 30 years and blood stains have been found on the spot. A name ‘Ramesh Bhagya’ in Kannada is tattooed on her hand.

The villagers, who were going to their fields, got the foul smell emanating from a field and went to investigate it during which, they found the half-burnt body of the woman, with her throat slit and immediately informed                   K.R. Police.

SP Amit Singh, K.R. Nagar Sub-Inspector Shivaprakash and staff rushed to the spot, inspected the place, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in Mysuru.

K.R. Nagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
