Hampi’s musical pillars come to Mysuru!

With the second edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) drawing to a close, workers have been busying setting up the stage for the valedictory ceremony to be held at the Mysore Palace on Feb. 9.

The stage is being modelled after Musical Pillars located at Vittala Temple in Hampi.

The idea, conceptualised by Information Department Director Vishukumar, is being executed by artists Prasad and group. A stage measures 72 ft X 60 ft width and 4ft height. The orgnisers are expecting around 8,000 people to attend the event.

On stage will be the models of dollu kunita artistes to add glitter.

Both Governor Vajubhai R. Vala and CM Siddharamaiah are expected to attended the event along with other dignitaries. Film and Television artistes are also expected to be present.
