- 100 Gujarat artisans showcase India’s rich craft heritage
- Gujarat Handicrafts Utsav-2026 is open for visitors between 11 am and 9 pm till July 12
Mysuru: The Gujarat Handicrafts Utsav-2026, currently underway at JSS Mysore Urban Haat, Hebbal Industrial Area, Mysuru, is attracting thousands of visitors and receiving an overwhelming response from the people of Mysuru. The expo, which will continue until July 12 between 11 am and 9 pm, features around 100 stalls representing the rich and diverse handicrafts of Gujarat.
Master artisans from different regions of the State have brought their finest handmade products, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant culture and traditional craftsmanship of Gujarat.
Visitors are appreciating the beautifully designed stalls showcasing an extensive collection of authentic handicrafts, handloom products, textiles, traditional jewellery, embroidery, home décor, handcrafted lifestyle products and other exclusive creations. Every stall reflects the creativity, skill and rich cultural heritage of Gujarat artisans.

A major attraction of the Utsav is the participation of National and State Award-winning artisans, who are conducting live demonstrations of their traditional crafts and interacting with visitors.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the three-day Gujarat Cultural Festival featuring vibrant Ras Garba, Dandiya Raas, Tippani Dance, and other traditional folk performances by renowned artists from Gujarat became one of the biggest attractions of the event.
Thousands of visitors gathered every evening to witness the colourful performances, creating a memorable cultural experience and significantly increasing the footfall at the expo. The energetic performances received tremendous appreciation from audiences of all age groups and showcased the rich artistic traditions of Gujarat.
The exhibition has also provided visitors with an opportunity to purchase genuine handcrafted products directly from the artisans, thereby supporting traditional crafts, preserving India’s rich cultural heritage and strengthening the livelihoods of skilled artisans.
