Head Constable dies in road mishap

Mysore/Mysuru: A  Head Constable attached to Lakshmipuram Police Station, who had sustained serious injuries after falling off from his motorcycle on July 15, succumbed to his injuries at a city Hospital yesterday.

Puttaswamy (42), a native of T. Katur in the taluk, is the deceased.

Puttaswamy was travelling on his motorcycle on official work to Jayapura Police Station on H.D. Kote Road on July 15, when he met with a self-accident and sustained serious injuries.

He was rushed to JSS Hospital, where he breathed his last yesterday morning. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters.

Last rites were performed at his native village this morning, according to family sources.
