Healthy Baby Contest marks Children’s Day: S. Sanvi emerges Champion Baby

Mysuru: Rotary Mysore North and Inner Wheel Club of Mysore North had organised a ‘Healthy Baby’ contest as part of Children’s Day celebrations at Rotary Auditorium on JLB Road here.

Babies in the age group of one to three years participated in the contest in which baby S. Sanvi emerged as the Champion Baby.

There were three categories in which the contest was held — Below one year, one to two years and two to three years.

Rotary Mysore North President M.K. Nanjaiah, inaugurating the contest, said that if babies are healthy their growth will be good. If the children are physically and mentally healthy, then not only education but they can also have a bright future.

JSS Hospital Paediatricians Dr. Mahendrappa, Dr. Panchakshari and Dr. Abhishek examined 55 babies who participated in the contest.

On the occasion, Rotary Mysore North PRO M.J. Swamy, Secretary S.H. Jagadish, Inner Wheel Mysore North President Chitra Subbaiah, Secretary Usha Hegde and others were present.

At the function in the evening, President Nanjaiah distributed the prizes.

Winners

Babies below one year: Sanvi S. Mirji (first), Arush Jagadish (second), Jaipreethi (third) and Baby of Archana & Ridith Sharma (consolation prizes).

One to two years: P. Kshithijdev (first), S. Danvith Deekshit (second), Brian Dominic Rodrigues (third) and Rajeev Anand & Vachana (consolation prizes).

Two to three years: A.V. Hitaishi (first), Aadhya Shashikiran (second), Shobith Hebbale (third) and Fazil Ahmed & Sai Sanmathi (consolation prizes).
